April 2009 - Almost 2 years on and Carbon Footprint continues to win awards including another Promax Europe and a Clio award.

Febuary 2009 - Carbon Footprint finds appreciation on the other side of the world at the Japan Media Festival, winning an excellence award in the media and entertainment categorie. Compositor Fabio Zaveti and myself were flown out to Tokyo, courtesy of the Festival to attend the awards and drink way to much saki. A big thank you to our hosts and all the new friends we made whilst slurping noodles in late night Roppongi.....and yes, Toyko is awesome.

August 2008 - Many thanks to all who attended my talks and presentations at Siggraph 2008. Thanks to Softimage for making my brief demo look so cool on that huge exibition screen and thanks to Barbora, Jill, Sam and so many others who made the event such a memorable and technological experience. It truely was an honour to be nominated for best of show along with some of the finest visual FX and animation work from the past 12 months. Congratulations to all.

May 2008 - 'Fight for Life' wins the BAFTA craft award for best visual effects. Congratulations to the Jellyfish Pictures team.

May 2008 - 'Carbon Footprint' has been nominated for best of show award at Siggraph 2008.
I will be present at this years conference in LA and will be doing a talk/presentation on Carbon Footprint and some of the work i did
on 'Fight for Life'. See you there!

April 2008 - 'Carbon Footprint' wins GOLD at Promax BDA Europe 2008 for best Sting/Interstitial.

March 2008 - 'Carbon Footprint' and 'Fight for Life' have been selected to be shown at this years Siggraph.

March 2008 - 'Carbon Footprint' has been nominated for an award at Promax.

March 2008 - 'Carbon footprint' is an award nominee at the 41st Annual WorldFest 2008. Congrats to the Carbon Footprint team.

March 2008 - I am proud to annouce that 'Carbon Footprint' has been nominated for an Escape Award 2008 in the CG in Broadcast category. Well done to my team Fabio Zaveti, Stefano Salvini and Matt Lambert.

February 2008 - Fight for Life wins the VES award for outstanding visual effects in a broadcast series. I attended the awards in Hollywood to collect the award along with VFX supervisor Phil Dobree and fellow lead TD Marco Iozzi. Congratulations to all the team at Jellyfish!! Pictures are HERE.

February 2008 - Carbon Footprint is featured in issue 40 of Stash.

February 2008 - This months issue of 3D World magazine features an interview with me on the creation of 'Carbon Footprint'.

January 2008 - Fight for Life has been nominated for a Visual Effects Society award for outstanding VFX in a broadcast series.

December 2007 - Timelapse project for Discovery Channel EMEA 'Carbon Footprint' is released online and broadcast across Europe.

November 2007 - Fight for Life wins a Royal Television Society award for Outstanding VFX in a Broadcast series. Congratulations to all the team at Jellyfish Pictures!!

September 2007 - I am pleased to accept a fulltime position at Jellyfish Pictures as a Technical Director and senior vfx artist.

August 2007 - Complete work on a new modern day adaptation of Frankenstein. I worked with supervisor Didier Muanza to develop a procedural facial details pipeline and textures/skin shaders.

July 2007 - Fight for Life is completed with over 250 visual effects shots over 6 episodes. Broadcast on BBC television during the summer.

March 2007 - Complete work as lead VFX artist on director Peter Howitts new film 'Dangerous Parking'.

July 2006 - Working as a Lead TD on BBC's 'Fight for Life' - developing shaders, zbrush pipelines, rigging, animation, particles and compositing.
